Public Health has published an integrated plan for oral health for children on the Island.
It sets out how different areas of government will work together to approach dental health for children up to the age of 11.
It combines strategies from Public Health and the Department of Health and Social Care, and includes recommendations made by the Council of Ministers and the Social Affairs Policy Review Committee.
Plans include re-launching the supervised toothbrushing programme, producing an evidence paper on fluoridation in water and increasing the accessibility of dentists.
The strategy will be laid before Tynwald in October.
