The Department of Infrastructure says it's exempt from handing over safety information about the airport under law.
A Freedom of Information request asked for public safety concerns over the past 5 years and what was done to address them.
The request asked specifically for incidents related to air traffic control.
However, the DOI says the Civil Aviation Occurrence Reporting Order, made in 2020, means the information is exempt from release.
