The government says it doesn't know how many people moved to the Island because of their love for the TT.
A Freedom of Information request to the Department for Enterprise asked how many people gave the annual motorsport festival as a reason for moving here.
But in its response, the department said it doesn't hold the information, adding it doesn't collate that data.
Last year, Locate Isle of Man - which falls under DfE - ran a marketing campaign featuring TT rider Dean Harrison to tempt bike fans to move to the Island.
