The Chief Minister has ruled out government funding for a new marina in Ramsey.
Allan Bell says the future for such a plan lies solely in the hands of the private sector.
Speaking about the town’s regeneration he says government is not in a position to fund either a marina or the Queen’s Pier refurbishment in the foreseeable future.
A marina in the area has been a hot topic over the past decade following the success of similar initiatives in Peel and Douglas.
