It's after a Freedom of Information request asked whether legal or illegal immigrants were being put up in the Palace Hotel or Sefton Hotel in Douglas.
In its response, the Cabinet Office says a statement's already been made dismissing the online rumours about housing immigrants.
And it says one UK company that wanted to send immigrants here has been told it can't.
