The government has released details of the 10 people who were granted exemptions from residency requirements for public housing.
Seven domestic violence victims were among those who'd lived on the island for less than 10 years, but were still given a council house.
Three were exempted because of health and mobility issues.
In her response to a question for written reply from Rushen MHK Juan Watterson, Infrastructure Minister Michelle Haywood said the exceptions were "absolutely justified".
