A significant landmark has been reached by the Government’s Online Services.
Since it’s introduction in 2007 in excess of £100 million in payments have been processed.
There was a boom in online usage last year with over £60 million taken relating to 20,000 payments and over 60,000 transactions.
It’s estimated that over 13% of the Government’s revenue for 2010-11 will have been made via Online Services.
