The Department of Health and Social Care is advertising for a new executive director.
The post would see them based at Belgravia House in charge of quality, safety and engagement.
Among their responsibilities would be overseeing an inspection regime and making sure Manx Care is maintaining safety standards.
The post pays up to £110,000 per year - but the appointment has a six-month contract.
