 
                            An event to promote energy efficiency will take place at the Royal Manx Agricultural Show next month.
The Energy Expo will demonstrate simple ways of reducing energy bills in the workplace and at home.Since government identified savings could be made from this approach the Department of Education and Children has cut £100,000 a year from its energy bill.
Senior manager for energy policy Dr Ken Milne says the government is hoping to develop offshore energy opportunities in the future:
