Public Health is launching a campaign to increase breastfeeding rates on the Island.
The Sustaining Breastfeeding Together initiative highlights the benefits to the child for the first six months of life.
Currently around 49 percent of babies on the Island are breastfed at six to eight weeks.
The government's hope is to increase this to 70 percent.
