The Government have confirmed that they will be producing a
guidance document for members of the public and communities wanting to hold
street parties to celebrate the Royal Wedding.
The Wedding due to take place on April 29th has
been declared a public bank holiday on the Island, after speculation that they
weren’t going to follow the UK’s lead.
The Department of Infrastructure have produced a simple
guide on what steps are required to close a road to hold a party on the day.
Organisers will be assisted when needing to borrow road
closed and diversion signs.
