Government has more than 26,000 email addresses

The Cabinet Office says there are currently more than 26,500 government email addresses in use.

A Freedom of Information request asked how many email accounts there are under the gov.im domain name.

In its response, the office said there are 26,684 objects using the addresses.

That includes 11,510 individuals, 9,671 groups and 554 bookable resources such as meeting rooms or pool vehicles.
