The government is exploring the idea of creating a peer support scheme for those looking to return to work after being absent through sickness.
The Social Security Division of the Treasury is looking for interest from experienced parties to provide the system for people who are receiving incapacity related benefits.
Officials say there are around 3,300 people on Island claiming such benefits and such an initiative would 'change the way we help people get back to work by establishing clearer support pathways'.
Interested organisations should put forward expressions of interest to the government portal no later than Noon on Tuesday, April 23.
