Should the government merge its different cards to produce one covering travel, benefits, school meals and the National Sports Centre?
That's the question on the mind of Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper who quizzed the Island's Policy and Reform Minister about the issue in the House of Keys.
Mr Hooper asked how many card schemes the government runs and whether consolidating them - with all the data held in one place - would save money.
Chris Thomas said merging the Go travel cards with things like the MiCard, which is used to pay benefits, is being considered:
Ramsey Remembrance service to be marked by maroon rockets
MEDS phone line to be down temporarily
Committee to examine link between poverty and poor academic performance
Police advice for trick-or-treaters to stay safe
