The government has completed a deal to take control of the Steam Packet Company.
Treasury Minister, Alf Cannan, signed the £124.3 Million deal today (May 25th).
Tynwald Members had voted in favour of the purchase earlier this month.
The move aims to provide long-term stability to the ownership of the Islands ferry operations.
