The Island's chief minister says the government doesn't have the power to force phone companies to lower their mobile roaming charges.
This morning in the House of Keys, Howard Quayle faced questions from Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper about the issue.
Mr Hooper wanted to know if the Communications Commission could be given more powers to investigate prices.
