Manx Care's joining a UK campaign to help parents cope with crying babies without harming them.
Today's the start of ICON week, an acronym which reminds people that infant crying is normal and will stop.
The slogan's also telling people it's OK to walk away from a baby that cries for a few minutes if it's safe, and to never shake them.
Campaign founder Dr Suzanne Smith says that crying can push any parent to the edge, and it affects men just as much as women.
Manx Care explains the programme is based around a simple message, with ICON standing for:
I - Infant crying is normal and will stop
C - Comfort methods can sometimes soothe the baby
O - It’s OK to walk away for a few minutes if the baby is safe and the crying feels overwhelming (this is not controlled crying)
N - Never shake or hurt a baby
