Government spent more than £60,000 of taxpayers' money on road cycling last year, according to the Minister for Economic Development Laurence Skelly.
In a Tynwald question for written answer, Onchan MHK Julie Edge asked the minister how much funding government had given to companies and other organisations concerned with sport.
In his response, Mr Skelly provided figures which show netball and basketball received no money in the past three years.
Only £300 was provided for adventure sports in 2016 and racket sports had been given £1,650.
