Efforts to tackle Japanese Knotweed in the Colby River are progressing well.
That's according to the contractor carrying out the work which says measures to control the plant have been at a higher rate than initially anticipated thanks to longer warm weather this year.
It's part of a five-year campaign launched last year by Arbory Parish Commissioners to combat the issue.
The contractor added regular checks will be made as usual during next spring and summer to monitor progress.
