A local charity is encouraging businesses to go blue for World Diabetes Day this weekend.
The disease currently affects around 6 per cent of the Island’s population, and is set to rise.
Diabetes Isle of Man wants people to join in with the rest of the world this Saturday to raise awareness of the condition.
The charity will also be fundraising throughout the day in Shoprite on Victoria Road, Douglas.
