Glen Road in Laxey will remain closed as Manx Utilities conclude works, before closing Minorca Hill for flood works.
The Department of Infrastructure says the section of the Laxey river wall has now been completed, roads will be closed for sewer works from Monday October 18 for approximately two weeks.
Once Glen Road has reopened, Minorca Hill will close as its reconstructed to combat flooding risks, with vehicle access to Laxey School still available from Minorca Crossroads.
For more information on the DOI's flood mitigation works in Laxey, there is a drop in session at the Working Men's Institute on Thursday October 21.
