A highway in Laxey closed since flooding in the town has been re-opened for the Christmas season.
Glen Road has been undergoing extensive repairs and a new river wall is being built after it suffered heavy damage from big floods in the town on October 1.
The Department of Infrastructure says construction equipment has been moved and that the supervising engineer will be making regular visits and work with Ronaldsway Met Office to monitor weather forecasts.
Officials are advising motorists the stretch will close to traffic again on Monday, January 6, 2020 until the repair project is completed.
