A 16-year-old girl from Peel is under observation in Noble’s Hospital after she took prescription medication.
Police say her condition is not believed to be life threatening but are warning young people of the dangers of doing the same.They say it appears that teenagers are taking the medication socially.
Officers from the Western Neighbourhood Policing Team are investigating the case and say they want to stop people from taking part in this dangerous activity.
