Olympic contender Zoe Gillings narrowly lost out on a place in the final of the snowboard cross event yesterday.
The 28-year-old who is from the Isle of Man came fourth in her semi-final at Sochi.
She went on to finish 9th in the competition overall.
Eva Samkova from the Czech Republic took the gold medal in the event.
