University College Isle of Man has noted a significant rise in the number of women attending its Digital Enterprise Department.
A spokesman said a recent event showed a 50/50 representation of men and women.
Head of Faculty for Digital Enterprise, Dr Michael Ulyatt said it's exciting to see how the industry is growing and changing.
He added: "It's great to see more interest from female students in a traditionally male dominated sector".
The next UCM open event will be held on Saturday 12th February between 9am and 1pm.
