Manx Gas says it'll have to close a road in the centre of Laxey for two weeks while it carries out works in the village.
Old Laxey Hill will be shut from Shore Road and Tent Road near the new bridge from Monday, December 12th.
The Department of Infrastructure says the route will shut while a gas main is replaced.
People will still be able to access their properties and diversions will be in place over the two weeks.
