There are concerns a 27.5% gas price hike will affect the Island's care homes, nurseries, businesses and hospitality sector.
That's the opinion of Douglas South MHK Claire Christian following the increase being approved in Tynwald last week.
The hike will see the average gas customer paying around £30 more per month.
In response, Treasury minister David Ashford announced £1m of extra support will be made available over the Winter.
However, Mrs Christian says it's not just going to affect those on low incomes
