The provision of school meal vouchers on Island is to be discussed by politicians this week.
Garff MHK Daphne Caine will quiz Education, Sport & Culture Minister, Dr Alex Allinson MHK, when the court convenes for its monthly sitting today (May 18).
Mrs Caine will ask whether the minister has considered offering the vouchers during TT week or the summer holidays.
The scheme was made available to parents whose children are entitled to free school dinners during the last Covid-19 lockdown and provided three weekly vouchers, each equivalent to five school meals, which could then be used to purchase groceries at Shoprite stores.
