Garff Commissioners are teaming up with Beach Buddies to improve the tidiness of neighbourhoods in Laxey, Lonan and Maughold.
A local meeting is taking place at 10am on Sunday August 14 at the Laxey Sailing Club to share ideas on how to 'cheer up' some locations that need more care.
Commissioners have also employed a part time contractor to help their maintenance team.
The aim is to encourage people to help improve a local area by picking up litter and creating more clean and welcoming spaces.
