An Island filling station company says it'll try out bodyworn cameras to help deter shoplifting and verbal abuse against its staff.
Ellan Vannin Fuels says from next week, its staff will wear the cameras and use them to record incidents.
The footage can then be used by police to find those behind crimes, and the video can be used as evidence in court.
The company says at the end of the trial, it'll make a decision about issuing cameras to staff in other locations.
