A number of ferry crossings have been called off today, with the risk of more being cancelled later.
Liverpool and Heysham sailings with the Manxman and Manannan have both been called off.
A decision on the next crossing from Douglas to Liverpool at 3pm will be made by 1pm today.
Meanwhile, the Steam Packet says a decision about the Douglas to Belfast Manxman sailing at 7pm will be made at 5pm.
