The Island's Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning about waves washing onto roads at high tide today.
Forecasters say gale force winds this afternoon could bring problems in areas such as Shore Road in Rushen, Castletown Promenade, central and northern parts of Douglas Promenade, and as well as Laxey and Ramsey Promenades.
Just before 6am on Monday morning the conditions could also see water washing over Fenella Beach in Peel, Shore Road in Rushen and Castletown Promenade.
The warning runs from 3pm today until 5.45am tomorrow.
