Security firm G4S has lost the prison contract meaning 11 jobs are now at risk.
The Department of Home Affairs has confirmed that the contract for escorting prisoners to the court and the prison has been awarded to Resource.
It follows a tender process which started in August last year.
The DHA says both companies were assessed for price and quality with Resource securing the contract which will start on July 1st.
