The Island's retail sector has suffered another blow after HMV announced it's called in the administrators.
The music and games retailer becomes the latest high street company to collapse - just days after it was confirmed Jessops is also closing.
There are 239 HMV stores across the UK and Republic of Ireland - one of these being in the Strand Shopping Centre in Douglas.
It's not yet known what will happen to our store, however it's believed it will be kept open while administrators Deloitte look to find potential buyers.
Update: It's been confirmed to 3FM this morning that you can no longer use giftcards at the store.
