The Islands fire service is warning about the dangers of bonfires again after being called to an incident in Port Erin at the weekend.
Crews in the town were called to Bradda Head on Sunday to deal with a bonfire which had gotten out of control - teams say thanks to an early call from a concerned neighbour personnel were able to extinguish it before it could spread.
Firefighters are reminding people that the countryside is still 'tinder dry' due to the recent good weather.
They add whilst a fire may not seem easy to light at first to make sure you're prepared to deal with it if necessary.
