A Peel man who's facing multiple rape charges has been accused of committing an act against public justice.
46-year-old William Henry Kelly, of Ballawattleworth in Peel, appeared at Douglas Courthouse earlier this week.
The offence was allegedly committed between March 5th and March 7th this year.
During the hearing committal proceedings took place to elevate the charge to the Court of General Gaol Delivery where it's expected to join Mr Kelly's other charges.
He's due to stand trial in May and faces 11 rape charges and five of indecent assault; matters date between 2013 and 2016.
Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes ruled there were no grounds for a further bail application and he was remanded at the Isle of Man Prison until his next court appearance.
