The Manannan will no longer be back in service for Wednesday's sailing to Belfast.
Due to unforeseen circumstances the dry dock is no longer available this afternoon for the boat to be repaired.
The Manannan will now have to wait at the Liverpool landing stage for a further 24 hours before entering the dry dock on Tuesday afternoon.
It is then expected to return early Thursday morning.
All Manannan sailings have been cancelled until Thursday - passengers are asked to check their online account for more information.
