Another £3.4 million from the government will go towards supporting businesses who are struggling because of Covid-19.
Treasury Minister David Ashford says in light of the impact over Christmas, the Economic Recovery Group have increased the level of support available.
The Covid-19 December Disruption Scheme is open for applications and provides up to £6,000 of support to eligible businesses and self employed people whose turnover was impacted through December 2021.
This is in addition to the Covid-19 Winter Disruption Scheme, which opened in December, with some businesses able to access both schemes, depending on their circumstances.
Information on the schemes and how to apply can be found on the government website.
