A cat owner in the south of the Island has apologised after her filching feline came home with a stolen haul of cat food.
Leander Sime took to Facebook to confess her five-year-old Maine Coon Ozzie pinched at least six pouches in Port Erin - and she suspects he may have scoffed more at the scene.
She told 3FM although he’s never taken food before, the three-foot ginger moggy can’t resist Christmas baubles and often brings them home in the festive season.
She said "I would like to apologise, on behalf of my thief of a cat, to the household in Port Erin, that has had their Whiskers fish-flavoured pouches stolen over the last 24 hours."
