Staff from the Department of Economic Development have raised money to make up for the theft of a poppy collection box.
The box was stolen from inside Maughold Church the day before Armistice Day.
The box contained money which was due to be presented to the Royal British Legion at the Service of Remembrance.
The money raised by the workers has been donated to them instead to make up for their loss.
