Police are investigating after a fuel cap was forced off a truck and the fuel siphoned from it.
It happened in Douglas – the vehicle was parked near to the entrance of the White Hoe Industrial Estate when it was targeted.
Officers believe those responsible struck between 4pm yesterday and 8am today – they say it would have taken some time to get the fuel out and this would have been ‘clearly in view of the main road’.
Anyone who saw what happened is asked to contact Police Headquarters.
