A local cyclist plans to ride over 1,250 miles from Pisa to Peel to raise money for a blindness charity.
David Hogg will set off from the Italian city in July, in aid of Sight Matters.
He plans to do the solo challenge in 15 days, climbing 50,000 feet in elevation and carrying all the gear he needs.
