Introducing Freedom of Information legislation on the Island would help make government more transparent.
That’s the view of the Positive Action Group which is hosting a meeting on the subject tonight.
Guest speaker, and BBC producer, Martin Rosenbaum will
discuss "What the Isle of Man is missing" – after the UK introduced the act in
2005.
The talk will take place at the Manx Legion Club in
Douglas at 7.30pm.
PAG spokesman Roger Tomlinson says it’s good to hear the opinions of others:
What would be the impact of raising the income tax threshold?
Nominations open for Manx cultural hero awards
Passport and immigration public counters to temporarily close
Overnight delay means today's sailings will set off late
