An MHK is asking for members of the public to be able to quiz the Steam Packet, meat plant and Manx Development Corporation.
During Tynwald's June sitting, Douglas Central member Chris Thomas, will ask for the three bodies to be added to the government's Freedom of Information list.
It would mean people could ask the organisations for information - although they could still refuse to provide it if it's commercially sensitive or already available.
If the court votes in favour, PGT Limited - a dissolved company owned by Manx Uitilities - would be deleted from the list.
