A landmark feature in Foxdale is to return to town ownership after over 50 years.
Following decades under government control and major refurbishment, the towns clock tower is to be handed back over to local commissioners.
Chair of Patrick Parish Commissioners, Geoff Gelling, says they are 'delighted' and 'thankful' over the news.
He says they plan to be able to illuminate the face of the historic site during night time in the future to bring out its splendour.
