Foursome accused of assaulting and obstructing cops

Four people have appeared in court after two police officers were obstructed and assaulted during an incident in April.

It follows an incident at a flat on York Road in Douglas at around 1am on April 3rd when two male officers were attempting to arrest 17-year-old Douglas man Joshua Hall.

He's accused of assaulting the police officers by biting and kicking.

During the arrest his friends - 20-year-old Michaela Pallister, 18-year-old Darius Brown and 17-year-old Jessica Dallison - allegedly obstructed the officers.

At Douglas Courthouse this week Magistrates told the foursome they would adjourn the case for two weeks but said they were 'concerned' about the delay in bringing it to court.

All four were bailed until their next appearance on October 11th.
