Four people are to stand for election in Douglas West.
Yesterday was the last day candidates could put their names forward to become an MHK after Geoff Corkish's move to the Legislative Council.
Quintin Gill, John Skinner, Chris Thomas and Clive Dawson will contest the vacant seat - a fifth man Martin Moore pulled out of running.
The by-election will take place on Thursday, May 23rd.
