Four people have been arrested for driving under the influence of drink or drugs.
That’s according to police who took to social media this morning.
The post reads:
”As the late crew book off and the early turn book on there are 4 people who have spent the night in custody for drink or drug driving offences alone.
This comprises of arrests made by patrol teams and RPU officers. Some have been a result of proactive vehicle stops; some from procedures carried out after officers attended a road traffic collision.
Ultimately if you choose to drink or drug drive one way or another, sooner or later you will likely come to our attention, at that point it’s too late. Fortunately none of those in custody hurt themselves or others as a result of their choices.”
