A road in the south of the Island will close for four months while flood defences are strengthened.
Back Hope Street in Castletown will shut from 6am on Tuesday October 10 and won't reopen until 6pm on Sunday, February 11 next year.
The Department of Infrastructure says it's while work's being carried out on the harbour wall which runs alongside the route.
The work forms part of a £2.3 million scheme to alleviate flooding in the area.
