Four people have been arrested following a fight in the Island's capital last night.
Just before 6pm authorities were called to reports of a fight at Marathon Road in Douglas.
Officers say the people involved - who were using weapons, made off minutes before authorities arrived - one local man was initially arrested at the scene.
As several weapons were used, specialist firearms officers were deployed - a further three men were subsequently arrested and detained - one of whom had sustained a non-life threatening face injury.
Police say it's thought all parties involved know one another - and there was no direct threat to the public.
Enquiries are still ongoing - and officers are appealing for anyone who was near Marathon Road at the time of the incident, to contact them on 631212, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800555111.
